At Rat-a-Plan, we help people who are dealing with rats or mice in a natural and poison-free way. We work with experienced Terriers and ferrets, who together play an important role in detecting, flushing out and catching rats. Our approach is practical, targeted and based on the natural behaviour of our animals. This allows us to quickly understand where rats are present at many locations and how the problem can best be tackled.

No, Ratplan works without poison. We use a natural and targeted method with Terriers, ferrets, nets, traps and other tools. This allows us to deal with rat and mouse problems without using poison.
You can contact Ratplan if you are dealing with rats or mice around homes, yards, sheds, stables, chicken coops, animal enclosures, wood stacks, hay and straw bales or business premises. We assess each situation to determine the most suitable approach.
Our Terriers help us find fresh tracks and show us where the rats are located at that moment. They respond to scent, movement and activity. When rats leave their hiding places, the Terriers can catch them directly.
When the situation allows, we use ferrets in rat tunnels, around hay and straw bales, wood stacks and other hiding places. The ferrets enter tunnels or move between materials, driving rats out of their hiding places.
Ratplan works from the north of the Netherlands. Depending on your location, we will look at what is possible. If you live further away, we may be able to combine visits in your area or refer you to a reliable rat catcher from our network.
